The taste of peppers will once again ignite the palates with the second edition of the fair “La Ruta del Chile”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flavor and spiciness come together in The Pepper Route<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The fairground La Perla, located in Mercedes Norte of Heredia, will be the epicenter of this day that will run from 10 am to 8 pm. This second installment brings together producers of chili peppers, plants and seeds. Additionally, manufacturers produce sauces, chili peppers, oils, dressings, and a diverse array of products associated with the spicy realm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first La Ruta del Chile fair was so successful that we decided to repeat it. We are very happy to be able to organize this event, which demonstrates that the taste for spicy flavors, in different presentations, is widespread in the country; in addition, we are excited to know that this activity generates sources of work and an incipient local economic development.<\/p>\n\u00c1ngela Aguilar Vargas<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

One of the outstanding participants is Marco S\u00e1nchez, producer of hot sauces under the brand “Chilanguitico”, who said: “This is a very good opportunity to continue promoting the consumption of hot products made in Costa Rica. Given the incredible number of options available, this fair allows us to showcase the different products that we entrepreneurs offer”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the exhibition and sale of spicy products, La Ruta del Chile will offer various activities for the entertainment of the whole family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These include three exciting competitions: one for hot dogs dipped in hot sauce, another for spicy churros, and the most challenging of all, where the brave participants will face chili peppers with different intensities of heat, culminating with the dreaded Carolina Reaper, ranked as the hottest chili in the world.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

However, the fair is not only limited to the world of chili. Visitors will also find articles made by talented artisans and a variety of gastronomic options to satisfy all tastes. Also, there will be a special area for children with recreational activities, talks on how to make chileras, a bingo, several contests and concerts, culminating the day with the presentation of the musical group La Kuarta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
