Miradas Cycle to commemorate the International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate International Women’s Day, Pre\u00e1mbulo presents the Ciclo Miradas: 8M<\/a><\/strong>, a week of films that pays tribute to women in the seventh art. During this special week, various films directed by female filmmakers will be screened, providing a platform for their voices and narratives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Films will be shown in the G\u00f3mez Miralles room of the Centro de Cine<\/a>, located at com\/ciclo-de-cine-el-septimo-arte-gratuito-en-el-corazon-de-san-jose\/”>Cinema Center, located at 11th street, 9th avenue, Barrio Am\u00f3n, San Jos\u00e9<\/strong>, behind the Costa Rican Insurance Institute. Admission is free<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memoirs of a burning body<\/strong> (Costa Rica\/Spain, 2024)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Synopsis: Documentary that relives the legendary strike of Icelandic women in 1975. For a whole day, thousands of women refused to work, look after their children or cook, marking a milestone in the struggle for gender equality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
