    This area has a caf\u00e9, restrooms, information center, and parking. It is recommended to arrive very early in the morning, as clouds tend to cover the craters as the day progresses. Bring warm clothing: temperatures range from 5 to 9 \u00b0C, and rain is frequent.<\/p>\n\n

    How to get to Iraz\u00fa Volcano<\/h3>\n\n

    By rental car<\/h5>\n\n

    This is the most convenient option if you are traveling around the country. From San Jos\u00e9, take the road to Cartago (passing through Taras, Tierra Blanca, Potrero Cerrado, and San Juan de Chicu\u00e1, Route 219). Be sure to check the route on your GPS and avoid unnecessary detours on longer secondary roads.<\/p>\n\n

    By bus<\/h5>\n\n

    There is a daily bus that leaves San Jos\u00e9 at 8:00 a.m. from Calle 1-3, Avenida 2 (in front of Hotel Costa Rica). The return trip is at 12:00 p.m. from the park. This is an economical option, although you will have limited time for your visit.<\/p>\n\n

    On an organized tour<\/h5>\n\n

    A perfect option if you don’t want to worry about logistics. You can book a guided tour to the Iraz\u00fa Volcano, which often includes the Orosi Valley and Lankester Gardens.<\/p>\n\n
