{"id":24162,"date":"2026-01-16T14:50:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T20:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/else-kientzler-garden\/"},"modified":"2026-01-16T14:50:30","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T20:50:30","slug":"else-kientzler-garden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/en\/else-kientzler-garden\/","title":{"rendered":"Else Kientzler Garden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/en\/botanical-gardens\/\">Else Kientzler Garden<\/a> is a natural space whose origins are linked to a family history marked by war, work, and the continuity of an agricultural project over time.<\/p>\n\n<p>During World War II, in 1943, Do\u00f1a Else arrived at the greenhouses of Ludwig Kientzler, who had established the nursery on October 15, 1904, in Germany. Thanks to its specialized operation, the greenhouse gained recognition for the quality of its young plants in different regions of the country.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, Else met Ludwig Kientzler&#8217;s only son, who had the same name and had returned from the war. Then, in 1945, after his release from prison, they married and started a family with three children: Ludwig, Helmut, and Iris.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 1949, Ludwig Kientzler Sr. passed away at the age of 69. His son, who had been trained in the field, took over responsibility for the business. However, on March 19, 1960, Ludwig Kientzler Jr. died at the age of 45. The site also has several trails, one of which leads to a small lake.
