It was located on an old coffee plantation that contained beautiful native trees that fortunately survived the development of the land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This small facility features hundreds of orchids, as well as a wide variety of exotic trees, plants and birds. With easy walking trails, the Orqu\u00eddea Botanical Garden offers the whole family the opportunity to discover Costa Rica&#8217;s tropical fauna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.larepublica.net\/noticia\/seleccion-de-los-mejores-bonsais-se-exhibira-en-el-pais\"><strong>Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico Lankester<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/aerial_jardin_lankester-202.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7133\" width=\"397\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/aerial_jardin_lankester-202.jpg 840w, https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/aerial_jardin_lankester-202-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/aerial_jardin_lankester-202-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 397px) 100vw, 397px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located in Cartago, this garden was selected to represent Costa Rica at the Kew Orchid Festival 2021, in England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lankester Garden is the botanical garden and research center of the University of Costa Rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mission of the Lankester Botanical Garden is to promote the conservation, enjoyment and sustainable use of Costa Rica&#8217;s native flora threatened with extinction. With more than 1 km of stone paths, bird watching and thematic gardens: bonsai, tropical and bromeliads.
