It is a place that breathes activity with its fumaroles, lagoons and mud pots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sensorialsunsets.com\/en\/volcanoes-of-costa-rica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">active volcanoes<\/a> are Po\u00e1s, Arenal, Iraz\u00fa and Turrialba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It must be considered that the territory of Costa Rica is purely volcanic, but most of the volcanoes are very old and extinct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to deal with a volcanic eruption?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this situation, we must be clear about what to do in the event of a volcanic eruption alert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you are inside a house or building, the first thing to do is to protect your eyes. Wash them with water very gently and breathe through a damp towel. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are outdoors, stay away from areas where volcanic ash may fall. Stay away from cliffs, rivers and deep terrain, as they can accumulate noxious gases. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are driving, be aware that ash can make the road slippery. Stop, turn off the engine and turn on the lights. Stay inside the vehicle with windows and doors closed.
