The National Surf Circuit Banco LAFISE 2026, presented by Corona Cero and Suzuki, has established itself as the leading competitive platform for surfers in Costa Rica. This national surf championship strengthens athletes’ exposure thanks to the partnership between the Costa Rican Surf Federation and Grupo Repretel, allowing competitors across 19 categories to showcase their talent to a nationwide audience.

Roberto Vargas, president of Fedesurf, pointed out that this step promotes the professionalization of surfing in Costa Rica and allows the country to recognize the potential of athletes who train daily on the Pacific and Caribbean coasts.
