Spain, guest country at the Costa Rica International Film Festival 2025

The International Film Festival (CRFIC) returns in 2025 with a program of contemporary, independent films committed to the social realities we share. This audiovisual platform continues its commitment to becoming the main screening space for Central American and Hispanic Caribbean cinema.

Spain is this year’s guest of honor, and the Spanish Cultural Center (CCE) in Costa Rica will be one of the main venues for the festival. It will host special screenings, an international workshop, and the eagerly awaited opening party, highlighting the diversity of contemporary Spanish cinema.
