The “El Héroe” Book Fair returns to Alajuela to celebrate reading and culture.

The great festival of reading and culture once again fills the center of Alajuela with life. This April 26th and 27th, the For two days, the streets in front of the Museum will be transformed into a lively cultural corridor where literature, music, art and creativity will coexist. More than 20 national publishers and bookstores, writers from different regions, local artists and cultural groups will come together to share their works and talents with the public.

The program is full of activities to enjoy with the family or on your own: book presentations, creative workshops, concerts, folk shows, poetry readings, raffles and more. All of this in a free, open-air environment designed for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
