The Preámbulo program, organized by the Film Center of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, continues its early-year programming with Movie and. . . a Mixtape, a proposal that brings together a careful selection of contemporary cinema, essential classics, and family animation, together with the Pantalla Chica space.

The screenings will take place on January 22, 23, and 24 in the Gómez Miralles room at the Film Center, with free admission, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to bringing quality cinema to diverse audiences.

Saturday, January 24 | 4:00 p.m. Small Screen: Kayara (All ages) This Peruvian animation tells the story of a young Inca woman who dreams of becoming a Chasqui messenger, a role traditionally reserved for men. Defying gender norms and ancestral traditions, Kayara embarks on a journey of courage and determination to prove that her place is at the heart of the empire.

Saturday, January 24 | 7:00 p.m. Amores Perros (18+) In Mexico City, a car accident connects the lives of three characters whose stories intertwine through love, loss, and violence.
